| About Us Crescent Construction Company was formed in July of 1993 by its principal, Regis Matejcik. Mr. Matejcik had previously served as Vice President at Hardin Corporation where he played a primary role in the development of the Walnut Creek Business Park in Austin Texas, and as Vice President of Landmark Organization, in Austin Texas. Crescent Construction carries Liability Coverage with a limit of $5,000,000.00; and of course Statutory Workmens Compensation coverage. We at Crescent Construction have focused our business plan on handling projects which require quick responsiveness, innovative problem solving, and reasonable pricing. Our "typical" projects range from "almost nothing" to about $3,000,000.00 Crescent normally produces a much larger portion of work with an "in house" work force than is customary for a General Contractor. The "hands on" approach affords us the ability to pursue a much greater choice of building and finish options for our clients. We have significant background in site development, and have completed substantial site projects using a totally "in house" work force. Likewise, we normally perform the majority of framing, ceiling, and drywall, welding, and carpet installation work with our own forces. We can thereby provide not only the responsiveness and quality we desire, but can spare our clients a great deal of the endless finger pointing and cost escalations that invariably take place when competing "subs" begin fighting over job site conditions. While we are quite capable in modern project management and scheduling techniques; we find these to be secondary to being proficient in workmanship and job site strategy. We believe that no matter how many layers of management are involved, and no matter how many pages of subcontract and schedules are transmitted, the quality of the work lies in the hands of the individual who ultimately has his hands on the tools and materials.
