Earful of Books

Located at 5th and Lamar in Austin, Texas; we constructed both the first floor retail store, and the 2nd floor main offices of this retailer.  The retail store located on the first floor was complicated by the extremely narrow depth, three elevations, and a deck height above of almost 30'.  The design by Kampfe and Associates employs a series of geometrics, bright colors, and overhead cabling to provide visual interest.

The corporate offices located on the 2nd floor, above the store; also employ the innovative theme of interesting geometries, open structure, and stained concrete floor.  All of these unique applications work to provide a cost effective yet visually attractive, and functional office environment.
